A day of relative rest for me. This morning I went to the bank to change USD money to Zambia Kwatcha. This took an age! Then I got some oil and an oil change at Chana’s. I also fastened my mirror that was loose since my fall in Grunau (Namibia). In the afternoon I rested and I went to see the falls from the bridge. A good sight! I also saw where they do the bungee jumping. In the evening I socialized with a group of Irish who were attended some function at the Christian Brothers Centre in Lusaka. Brothers Joe and Mike invited me to stay over at their centre when I go to Lusaka.

I have now made it to Kajjni in Finland.
Unfortunately I do not know how to use blogs so I will (I hope) just add to this.
First Let me thank Vespa for the great 250gts they have made. In the 17200 km I have done from Cape Agulhas to here it has stood up to everything. 5 falls, temperatures of 48degree celcius, very bad roads in africa and some in Russia.
Now about myself. In 1952 Iread the book 'Cape Cold to Cape Hot' of the first car that went from Nordkapp Norway to Cape Agulhas South Africa, and I decided to do the trip then on a scooter. Now at the age of 68 I have nearly completed it. Unfortunately I did not plan for blogs etc. So I cannot do Vespa any justice for all they did in producing such a fin reliable scooter as the GTS250ie. They also treated me and my son Nic like kings when we went to see them in Ialia. Many thanks Marko and Anna.

I wisch you make your dream come true , I buy also a new vespa GTV 250 , 3 days on this moment I vespa with it and it's fantastic .Be carefull and enjoy your trip! Greatings
