Pontedera is the home of the Vespa, the place where it all began: it’s been 140 years of Piaggio and 100 years of the Pontedera Plant, where Vespa was born.
The focus of this edition is to live a true ‘Tuscan Experience’, getting to know the territory, gastronomy and culture where Vespa was born, with the Vespista spirit of those who live Pontedera every day and celebrate its masterpiece.
Terre di Pisa (the Lands of Pisa) welcome Vespa enthusiasts with their traditions and the alchemy between industry and landscapes that only this part of Tuscany can offer.
The gentle hills that inspired Corradino d’Ascanio yesterday and today embody the essence of the joy of riding the beloved Vespa. From dawn to dusk, amidst hills and plains, all the way to the sea.

The desire of Vespa Clubs to come together in a large international gathering to celebrate their passion took shape in 1954 with the great International Gathering in Paris, what was in fact the first Euro Vespa.
Since then, apart from a small hiatus in the 1970s and the recent one due to the pandemic, every year Vespa Clubs from all over the world come together to celebrate the values of Vespismo association.
In the logo a history to celebrate: 140 years of Piaggio and 100 years of the Pontedera plant, the one where the Vespa was born. A cogwheel to recall the Vespa World Club, the International Federation that brings together all the national clubs, and a cogwheel to emphasise the value of associationism, a mechanism that only works if everyone serves the same purpose.

It will be an edition dedicated to the great axes of Vespismo: tourism, sport and the historic register.

WHERE WE ARE

Pontedera is the gateway to Valdera and is located between the provinces Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
Thanks to its strategic location, it can be easily reached from all other Italian and European cities, as it is located along the SGC FI-PI-LI highway; the nearest airports are Pisa (30 minutes) and Florence (45 minutes).
Pontedera is also very convenient to reach by public transport, as it has a train station, where regional trains stop along the Florence-Pisa route. From Florence Santa Maria Novella trains leave about once an hour and the journey time is 45 minutes, while from Pisa Centrale the route takes only 15 minutes.
Perfectly accessible for those arriving by Vespa or on wheels thanks to the presence of smooth, low-traffic roads immersed in the Tuscan countryside.
